This website has been completed for educational purposes for my English 104 course at Ball State University. The content provided on this website includes my academic achievements and main writing assignments that I have completed in my English 104 course in the Fall 2013 semester. My goal for this site is to revisit my academic achievements and main writing assignments completed in the course and present them in a digit format that is innovative, clear and formal. Through this website I hope I display a credible academic and professional persona. This website contains a photo essay of the top ten most dangerous cities (with a population above 200,000 people) in the United States according to the FBI's most recent Uniform Crime Report statistics. I have decided to display a beautiful picture of the skyline of each city in the ranking. I chose this topic for my photo essay to inform the audience of the cities in our nation with the highest violent crime and to create an ironic message that bad crime is happening in beautiful places. This website also contains information from a major research project that I completed in the Fall 2013 semester. The research that I conducted consisted of an observation of psychological and physical emotional reactions of Ball State University students while watching an NFL football game. My goal for this observation was to view if the psychological and physical emotional reactions of the students watching the NFL game provided evidence for the National Football League being considered the most popular professional sports league in the world. Through this website I will display clearly the intentions of my research, my observations, and the overall analysis through a mediated newspaper article format. The final academic project displayed in this website includes an informative essay that I created for my English 101 course during the Fall 2012 semester. I have taken the information from my essay and constructed it into a speech that I have recorded and uploaded onto YouTube. I have also provided a PowerPoint as a visual aid and resource of the information outlined in my speech. I have chosen to display the information about identity theft to provide the audience background and helpful ways to avoid it through the verbal communication of a speech.
